We’re looking for passionate community members who want to help shape the future of YWCA Mankato. By serving on one of our committees, you’ll lend your voice, expertise, and energy to work that advances equity, empowerment, and opportunity in our community. Whether you have a specific skill to share or simply a heart for service, we’d love to have you at the table.   • Strengthen YWCA Mankato community presence by building partnerships, promoting awareness, and fostering relationships that advance equity and empowerment.

  • Advance YWCA Mankato’s mission and sustainability through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and community philanthropy. The committee helps cultivate relationships and resources that strengthen YWCA’s long-term impact.

  • Ensure YWCA Mankato’s financial stability, transparency and compliance by providing oversight of the organizations budgeting, reporting and audit process. The committee safeguards the organizations resources so that it can continue to fulfill its mission effectively.

  • Build and maintain a strong, engaged and inclusive Board of Directors and volunteer leadership structure to guide YWCA’s mission and long-term success.

  • Provide ongoing guidance and community informed insight to support YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. The council advises the Board of Directors and YWCA committees on justice, equity and belonging, offers feedback on the strategic plan, and supports events and projects that advance equity across the organization.

  • Advance YWCA’s mission through programs and events that engage the community, elevate women’s leadership, and promote racial and social justice.
