Empowering Girls from the Inside Out

MindSet Cornerstones

These five cornerstones were thoughtfully chosen to provide a holistic foundation for personal growth.

Together, they guide young individuals toward a balanced and meaningful life, fostering well-being both personally and in relationships with others!

I am Creative

Creativity is about more than making art. The ability to think critically, be resourceful, and problem-solve are important skills for fostering resiliency. Cultivating creativity as a means of expression provides a healthy outlet that can continue throughout one’s life. Every individual possesses the capacity to create in their own unique way.

I am Unique

Our identity encompasses both self-perception and how others perceive us. While we have control over how we perceive ourselves, the latter is beyond our control. It's important to identify and utilize our individual strengths and understand how to leverage them effectively. Our identity significantly shapes our interactions and the relationships we have with others.

I am Connected

Intentionally spending time in nature is important for nurturing one’s mental well-being. For many, the natural world takes a backseat in our lives, which are so often dominated by digital technology. Reconnecting with nature helps facilitate introspection and bolsters our relationship with others.

I am Strong

Body image plays a pivotal role in shaping the identity of individuals from youth to adulthood. Fostering a positive body image is a process that can be nurtured from an early age. The notion of "healthy" is subjective, with each person interpreting it differently. How we perceive our bodies resonates within each of us, influencing every aspect of our lives.

I am Loved & Loving

When we prioritize our mental well-being and take time to cultivate a healthy mindset, we enhance our ability to actively contribute to the communities we are part of. When community members are well, the community is well too. Each person is worthy and capable of belonging to a community.
